“Double Digger”
This is one of my favourite Holga shots so far, taken in the field beside our house. This was also the first photograph that i sold during my exhibition at Blooms and Balloons which comes to an end on Tuesday.
“From The Window” My train journey from Aberdeen to Ardgay
I found these tonight, to be honest i had totally forgotten about them, these were some of the first 120 film that i shot with a Holga about 4 years ago now. I fell in love with film again properly then but was forced to shoot using digital for a lot of my course work so it all kind of took a back seat, am delighted to be revisiting this all over again!!!!
This was the first ever film that i shot on my Lomokino 35mm camera, the camera itself is a thing of beauty (well in my eyes it is) I decided to document my last ever walk down to Gray’s School of Art, for a first attempt it isnt too bad really so i hope to gain mega skills over the rest of the summer!!!
Shot on a 36 exp Boots 200ISO colour 35mm film, each frrame them was edited one by one in Photoshop and then put together in Windows Movie Maker, i love the results and have another 2 shorts that i shot over the glorious weather we had a couple of weeks ago.
We plan for all of our wedding guests to take a 35mm film with them and to shoot our wedding video with it, i love the effects that it gives and can’t wait to edit a longer film using multiple films :)
Any feedback or tips are very kindly appreciated!
Just completed my B.A. in Commercial photography at Grays Scool of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland.
My summer is going to be one huge project using film hence the imaginative title “My summer of film 2012”
From shooting short movies frame by frame on 35mm film using my Lomokino to testing out my £1 car boot sale box brownie and other cameras in my collection, I want to get back into the wonder and mystery of film, I love it!!!!
Please follow me over the course of the next few months which will include get togethers with friends and family, adventures in the country, walks along the beach and my wedding day on Aug 18th, all will be shot using film. I’m excited, i hope you are!
